Our Farm Animals

Nowadays, many industrial farms raise animals in an unethical manner by mishandling animals, confining them to cramped enclosures and using heavy antibiotics, growth additives and hormones. Animals raised in industrial farms tend to be depressed, prone to illnesses and laced with unwanted additives. Consuming such farm produce would adversely affect our health.

All our farm animals are humanely-raised, naturally-fed and bred in a healthy environment. Our goats and poultry are raised in a free-range setting where we compliment free grazing with grains and cut-pasture feeding. The pastures our animals feed on is organic and free of harmful chemicals, synthetic pesticides and herbicides. We do not use any added hormones, growth additives, GMO’s and antibiotics laced food.

We rear animals traditionally with an emphasis on animal welfare, sustainability and ecologically sound practices; making our farm produce a healthy alternative.

Malnad Goats

Goat farming is a traditional and profitable business. Goats are reared for the purpose of harvesting milk, meat, fiber and manure.

Malnad is a region in the state of Karnataka in Southern India. Malnad region covers the western and eastern slopes of the Western Ghats which is roughly 100 km in width. The region is characterized by hilly terrain and very heavy rainfall.

To raise goats in the Malnad region, it is vital to choose breeds that are suitable and are well adjusted to Malnad’s weather and soil conditions. Our goats are selectively cross-bred and are grazed outdoors to ensure that our goats and their offspring are immune to the local conditions. We have a variety of goat breeds for breeding as well as meat purpose. Our cross-bred goat varieties include Parbatsari, Tallaycherry, Boer and Beetal.
